ABOUT US

We are a small corpration founded in 2025, with the purpose of offering our expertise in the fields of scale modeling, aeromodelling, and the design and manufacturing of prototypes to our clients.
Our extensive experience in diverse fields such as scale modeling and mechanical engineering provides us with a unique source of knowledge, allowing us to occupy a privileged position compared to our competitors.

I. Abad Medina

A mechanical engineer by profession, specialized in heavy duty machinery and metal structure engineering. A certified SolidWorks professional with extensive experience in CAD and CAE software, he is passionate about mechanical engineering, 3D design, and additive manufacturing.

Throughout my life, I watched my father build models and scale replicas of all kinds of airplanes and military vehicles—from small-scale models to large aeromodels, including paper kits, rubber band planes, and various replicas and related toys. He even rebuilt real military vehicles and built his own amateur aircraft.
However, my life took a different path. From a young age, I showed a strong talent for drawing and developed an interest in computers. Soon, these two passions merged into something completely new to me: 3D design. I started creating my first 3D models in the early ’90s using demo versions of limited 3D software that ran on MS-DOS.

In 1995, I read about a new free and open-source program called Blender. This was a turning point—it instantly placed numerous design tools at my fingertips.
In the 2000s, while pursuing my studies in mechanical engineering, another milestone occurred: the emergence of the first home 3D printers. This closed the loop, giving me everything I needed to manufacture my own parts—the skills, the knowledge, the software, and the manufacturing technology.
An expert in UV resin part fabrication, I have created hundreds of components for scale replicas, prototypes, and real parts in the field of mechanical engineering. I can develop any type of component—whether it’s an exact replica or an idea you’ve only imagined.

R. Abad Sr.

A commercial airline pilot by profession, he is a renowned figure in the world of scale modeling.
He began building his first scale models in the 1950s, with very limited resources and access to information—at a time when obtaining a model kit was a major feat.

He ingeniously built his own airbrush using a foot pump when airbrushes were luxury items out of reach. Over a lifetime dedicated to scale kits construction as a hobby, he has built hundreds of scale models.

With a deep knwledge of aviation history, he is a reference figure for the WWII era.

In addition, he is passionate about mechanics in general, with mechanical engineering knowledge that would overwhelm most modern engineers. He has restored and made operational several WWII vehicles and is one of the few individuals in the country authorized by the State Aviation Safety Agency as an amateur aircraft manufacturer.

His knowldge of every aircraft details, every version and every era, his ability to perceive even the most imperceptible details, and his vast library of specialized books and magazines collected over a lifetime give us a unique perspective in the manufacturing of the scale models we develop.

R. Abad Medina

A commercial airline pilot by profession, he is currently a nationally recognized figure in scale modeling.

Following in his father’s footsteps, he has taken up scale modeling as a hobby, integrating the most modern techniques available today.

He is co-author of the acclaimed book “Airplanes in Scale”, which guides readers step-by-step through the scale construction of some of the most iconic WWII aircraft, with two editions published.

With dozens of models and aeromodels built, his up-to-date knowledge of the sector provides us with a unique perspective when developing our products.
